La-La Land Records has announced today their Black Friday titles. These 5 soundtracks will the last they release in 2015. The titles are James Horner’s The Pagemaster, Dimitri Tiomkin’s Giant 2-CD, Johan Williams Home Alone 2-CD, James Horner’s Braveheart 2-CD and John Barry’s Dances with Wolves 2-CD.

La-La Land Records, 20th Century Fox and Fox Music present the remastered re-issue of renowned composer James Horner’s (KRULL, STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN, FIELD OF DREAMS, BRAVEHEART) original motion picture score to the 1994 live action/animated feature film THE PAGEMASTER, starring Macaulay Culkin, Christopher Lloyd and Kanin Howell, and directed by Maurice Hunt and Joe Johnston. Long out of print, Horner’s dynamic THE PAGEMASTER score returns – full of wonder and expertly hitting all the story’s emotional highs and lows with a masterful touch. Tiomkin matches the epic dramatic reach of this classic tale with an equally epic masterwork that is robust, lyrical, brooding and soulful. Produced, edited and assembled by Neil S. Bulk and mastered by Doug Schwartz from mono studio vault elements, with additional engineering by Mike Matessino, this deluxe 2-CD set is greatly expanded beyond the original soundtrack album presentation, running over 2 hours and 25 minutes. While the complete film version of the score no longer exists, producer Bulk painstakingly augmented surviving film takes with alternates cues and additional materials (recovered and transferred specifically for this release) to create this wonderful assembly. Bonus tracks include album tracks and further alternate cues. Exclusive, in-depth liner notes by writer Frank K. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) original motion picture score to the timeless 1990 holiday classic feature film HOME ALONE, starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, and directed by Chris Columbus. For this deluxe release, produced by Mike Matessino and Nick Redman, and executive produced for Sony Music by Jeff James and Didier C.
