Henry Jackman is a composer of filmmusic. Henry Jackman began his classical training at St. Paul's Cathedral Choir School, Eton College and Oxford University, all in England. After graduating Jackman emigrated to the United States and entrenched himself in the underground rave and electronica scene in SoHo, New York, making dance singles. Later on he began working at Zimmer’s Remote Control Studios. He has since built a prestigious reputation on his own. Jackman won an Annie Award for Music in an Animated Feature Production for Wreck-It Ralph, and was nominated for Discovery of the Year by the World Soundtrack Awards. Jackman’s current projects include Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain Phillips. Henry Jackman recently scored This Is The End and Dreamworks latest animation film Turbo.

Henry Jackman has had a successful and eclectic musical career. He studied classical music in the U.K. at St. Paul's Cathedral Choir School, Eton College and Oxford University, then switched gears, producing chart-topping dance remixes, electronica and club music. Later on Henry Jackman worked with Hans Zimmer and John Powell. He wrote additional music to their films such as The Dark Night, Kung Fu Panda, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3, Hancock and many more. In 2009 Henry Jackman scored his first solo project with Monsters vs aliens. Later on he worked on Kick Ass, Gullivers Travels, Winnie The Pooh movie and X-Men: First Class. His latest score is for the animation film Puss in Boots
