Austin Wintory is one of the youngest filmmusic composers currently working in Hollywood. He began taking pianolessons at the age of 10. By the time he finished high school he already had taught himself how to compose, orchestra and conduct an orchestra. He has written music for video games, commercials and film. He likes to work with director Amin Matalqa. Together they did the short Morning Latte and the film Captain Abu Raed. The latter is currently a contender for a oscar nomination in the catagory best score. His latest film is Grace, a psychological horror movie. Wintory has created an experimental sound for this film. |
