Christopher Lennertz is a composer, producer, conductor and arranger for film, television, video games and records. Lennertz has written music for games such as Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Gun, James Bond: From Russia with Love and recently Mass Effect 3. For film he has written scores to Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hop, Marmaduke, Horrible Bosses and coming is Identity Theft. He recently received a special award from the International Film Music Critics Association for A Symphony of Hope: The Haiti Project.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, near the city of Boston, film composer Christopher Lennertz began his musical career at age nine when he discovered that he had a gift for writing melodies. Lennertz eventually moved to California to study music at USC’s Thornton School of Music with film music luminaries like Elmer Bernstein, Buddy Baker, and Christopher Young. He also worked for composers Basil Poledouris and Michael Kamen. Best known for his scores to the CW’s Supernatural and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Christopher Lennertz has also provided music for videogames, including The Simpsons Game, Quantum of Solace and two other titles in the Medal of Honor series. His film credits include Alvin and the Chipmunks, Tortilla Heaven, The Comebacks, Adam, and more recently, Marmaduke, Cats and Dogs 2: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. Currently, he is busy writing music for all new Looney Tunes 3D animated short films.
